Loading dock shelter retract dock shelter for container
Sponge dock shelter are mainly used on temperature controlled stores where the compression of the pad gives a tighter seal and maintains the tight control of the temperature and energy losses that this type of facility demands.
When the vehicle reverses on to the sponge dock shelter it compresses the foam as far as the dock buffers allow thus creating a seal between the vehicle and the building.
Commonly spong shelter are 300mm wide and the internal clear opening size is approximately 2250mm wide x2500 high, they are installed at warehouse floor level.
Spong dock shelter are made using high density closed cell foam encased in heavy duty PVC-some models also have wear plates in addition to the front material to increase the durability of the sponge dock shelter

The surface of the sealing columns is made of high-quality high-density polyester fiber base cloth, and theinterior is filled with high-quality and high-density flame retardant sponge. The standard configuration is in front of the left and right sealing columns with yellow reversing warning strips. the top adjusting curtain sheet is suitable for shorter vehicles. Scales increase friction and effectively seal to protect the sealing body.
